Bayou La Batre Oysters

    At Bayou La Batre Oyster Company, we grow delicious oysters. The mixture of fresh and salt water in the bay lets our oysters develop a flavor that is unique and salty. We harvest and sell oysters throughout the year and supply our customers with the freshest gulf coast oysters. 

Oyster Farming

    Our oysters grow in large mesh bags submerged beneath the surface of the water. The oysters take one to one and a half years to grow to full size and sell when they are about three inches in length.
